WORD PUP privacy policy

Last updated November 2, 2026. WORD PUP is a reading game for children (sight words), made by Ranger Gamez (Digital Diaz LLC).

What the game stores

Which levels you have finished, your paws, daily word results and settings are saved on your own device, in your browser's local storage. Clearing the site's data deletes them. A name typed on a certificate is kept only on the device too. It also keeps a short practice list of words you missed or needed a hint for, and when to review them, on your device only. For the grown-ups' progress screen, it counts, for each area, how many words were found right on the first try; those counts stay on your device too, and the progress screen is worked out on the device.

On rangergamez.app, the Learning daily strip reads which dailies you finished in the other Ranger Gamez learning games on this device, to show your progress. It reads them only on your device and sends nothing.

Class links

If you open a class link from a teacher, your results for that lesson are kept in this browser tab only until you close it, so you can show them to your teacher. Nothing is sent to the teacher or anyone else.

Hearing the words

The “Hear it” button and the “Say each word” setting use a voice that is built into your device (the browser's speech synthesis, using only voices that run on the device) to say the word or sentence out loud. The game does not record your voice, does not use the microphone, and sends nothing. If the device has no voice, the game shows the word instead.

What the game sends

Nothing. WORD PUP has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not send your data anywhere. It loads no fonts, pictures or scripts from other websites. If you use “Share result” on the daily words, the text is handed to your phone's share sheet or clipboard, and you choose where it goes.

Children

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Qué guarda el juego

Los niveles que terminaste, tus patitas, los resultados de las palabras del día y los ajustes se guardan en tu propio dispositivo, en el almacenamiento local de tu navegador. Si borras los datos del sitio, se eliminan. Un nombre escrito en un certificado también se queda solo en el dispositivo. También guarda en tu dispositivo una lista corta de palabras que fallaste o en las que usaste una pista, y cuándo repasarlas. Para la pantalla de progreso para adultos, cuenta en cada zona cuántas palabras se encontraron bien al primer intento; esas cuentas también se quedan en tu dispositivo, y la pantalla de progreso se calcula en el propio dispositivo.

En rangergamez.app, la barra «Retos para aprender» lee qué retos del día terminaste en los otros juegos de aprender de Ranger Gamez en este dispositivo, para mostrar tu progreso. Solo los lee en tu dispositivo y no envía nada.

Enlaces de clase

Si abres un enlace de clase de un maestro, tus resultados de esa lección se guardan solo en esta pestaña del navegador hasta que la cierres, para que puedas mostrárselos a tu maestro. No se envía nada al maestro ni a nadie más.

Escuchar las palabras

El botón «Escuchar» y el ajuste «Decir cada palabra» usan una voz que trae tu dispositivo (la síntesis de voz del navegador, solo con voces que funcionan en el propio dispositivo) para decir la palabra o la frase en voz alta. El juego no graba tu voz, no usa el micrófono y no envía nada. Si el dispositivo no tiene voz, el juego muestra la palabra.

Qué envía el juego

Nada. WORD PUP no tiene cuentas, ni anuncios, ni analíticas, ni rastreo, y no envía tus datos a ningún lado. No carga fuentes, imágenes ni scripts de otros sitios web. Si usas «Compartir resultado» en las palabras del día, el texto pasa al menú de compartir o al portapapeles, y tú eliges a dónde va.

Niños

El juego no recoge información personal de nadie, tampoco de niños.
