SNIFF & DIG
Dig the yard without waking the napping cats.
NEW Dig the yard without waking the napping cats. 40 yards and a daily yard, no guessing needed.
Ranger wants to dig up the whole yard, but cats are napping under the grass. Every time he digs a hole he sniffs the air, and the number tells you how many cats are sleeping in the squares right around it. Put up a Shh sign where a cat must be, and dig everywhere else.
Forty yards go from a little 6 x 6 lawn with three cats to a big backyard full of nappers, and every one can be finished by logic alone, with no guessing. Waking a cat only makes it grumble, so you keep going. Hints explain why a square is safe, and Count with dots helps little ones. A new daily yard every day.
How to play
- Tap grass to dig. The number in a hole says how many cats nap in the 8 squares around it.
- Sure a cat is there? Hold your finger on it, or switch to Shh sign, to put up a sign.
- When a number has all its signs, the other squares around it are safe. Tap the number to dig them all.
- Dig every square without a cat to finish the yard. Every yard can be done without guessing.
- No cats woken and no hints earns 3 paws. Woke a cat? It just grumbles and you keep going.
- Finish 6 yards to open the next area. The daily yard is the same for everyone.
Finger or mouse: tap to dig, hold (or right-click) for a Shh sign. Keyboard: arrow keys move, Space digs, F puts up a sign, M switches tool, H hint, R restart, Esc pause.
