PUP LAB
Predict it, test it, learn why. Science with Ranger!
NEW Science experiments with Ranger: predict, test, learn why. Sink or float, magnets, light, living things, states of matter and life cycles. 60 experiments plus a daily lab.
Ranger has a lab, and you're the scientist. Look at the thing on the bench and predict what will happen: will it float or sink? Will the magnet pick it up? Does light shine through it? Then Ranger tests it for real, and every answer comes with the reason why.
Sixty experiments in six areas cover the science kids meet in elementary school: sink or float, magnets, light and shadow (transparent, translucent, opaque), living and nonliving things, solids, liquids and gases, and life cycles from seeds to sunflowers and eggs to butterflies. A new daily lab every day, and a printable certificate for each area you finish.
How to play
- Look at the item on the lab bench and tap what you predict will happen.
- Ranger tests it: the water tank, the magnet, the flashlight or the sorting baskets.
- Read why it happened. A surprise is how scientists learn!
- Life Cycles: tap the stages in order, first to last.
- Paws: one for finishing, one more for 80% right first time, one more for all of them. Finish 6 experiments to open the next area.
Finger or mouse: tap an answer, then Next. Keyboard: 1, 2 or 3 picks an answer (or a card), Enter goes on, Esc pauses.
