Puzzle guide
Picture sudoku: sudoku with toys instead of numbers
Picture sudoku works just like normal sudoku, except the numbers are swapped for pictures. That makes it a friendly first sudoku for kids and for anyone who doesn't like number puzzles. There's no maths at all, just looking and thinking.
PAWDOKU uses Ranger's dog toys: balls, bones, frisbees, ducks and more. It starts with small 4x4 boards and builds up to full 9x9 puzzles. Every puzzle has one answer and can be solved without guessing.
How to play
- Every row has each toy exactly once.
- Every column has each toy exactly once.
- Every box with thick lines has each toy exactly once.
- Tap a square, then tap a toy to place it. Notes let you pencil in ideas on the bigger boards.
Tips
- Look for a row, column or box that is missing only one toy. That last square is free.
- Pick one toy and scan the whole board for it. Often there's only one square in a box where it can still go.
- On bigger boards, use Notes for squares with two choices and come back once a neighbour is filled.
- Stuck? A hint explains the reason, like "in this row, the duck only fits here", so you learn the trick.

Is there a daily sudoku?

Is it free?

Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works on phones, tablets and computers. Your progress is saved on the device you play on.
